The Train Game
We are interested in the question, whether programmers and non-programmers show the same sort of performance in dealing with these kind of problems. We plan to correlate, completely anonymized, the performance of each participant with course grades of the lecture Informatik I. So, if you want or do not want the anonymous inclusion of your data in the correlation, please state so in your email (see below).
Please visit all three websites in order to participate:

http://webexperiment.iig.uni-freiburg.de/trains2/
http://webexperiment.iig.uni-freiburg.de/trains3/
Drawing: To enter the drawing you have to participate in all three experiments. We will draw three Amazon gift cards 10 EUR each among all participants of this experiment.
Participation to enter the drawing possible until: 23th December 23:59
Completion Time: about 45 min on average for all together
You’ll see that the tasks that you’ll do in this study have some similarity with programming. However, even if you have no programming experience, you will be able to play the game well.
Upon completion of the experiment please:
- send an email to aiexp@informatik.uni-freiburg.de with the subject line “Trains” and
- your full name and
- state Allow (if we you allow us to use your data and course credits anonymously for the correlation) or Prohibit (if we are not allowed to use your data and course credits) and
- your native language and if you have a good command of English and
- send us all three Codes (for each experiment one - you receive each one at the end)!
